Today, I am launching @connectwizard giving you first time access to all the ASC data Apple has been hiding for years. Learn what users do on your app product page, and how they interact with your app system wide on a detailed framework level.
We have a running joke on the team. Whenever we’re fed up fighting a framework and can’t find workarounds, someone proposes sending one of us as an undercover intern to that framework’s team at Apple, to fix the bugs from within. Over the years this has targeted
Exciting news! The Authentication Experience team at Apple, which brings you the Passwords app, passkeys, AutoFill of codes from Messages and such, and a lot more, is hiring a software engineer!
This is the team that I founded, grew, and managed for years. Its members (including me!) are passionate, empathetic, and skilled. And we’re cooking up some awesome stuff.
If you are interested, please apply through the website. People of all backgrounds who know either Swift or Objective-C are encouraged to apply. The role is in Cupertino, California.
Roles on this team are rarely available. Please share! https://jobs.apple.com/en-us/details/200659750-0836/software-engineer-authentication-experience

Welcome to the CommunityKit Indie Fair! We're excited to be back and with a space to host many indie developers like you for showing off your work, fielding questions, and networking with your fellow developers. There's a few things we'll need to know to get you reserved for a spot. The Indie Fair is going to be held in a room with several tables where you will have a dedicated, assigned space to show your app. Attendees will walk around the room, stopping by to discuss with different developers. We only require that you bring a computer to show your promotional material as well as a working version of your app that you'd feel comfortable demoing to folks. If you have a Vision Pro app, this requirement is relaxed, but please provide enough material via graphics and videos to suggest the experience. Though not required, it is highly recommended that you bring any swag related to your app with you, such as stickers, promo codes, Test Flight invites, etc. You can be as creative as you'd like with swag as long as it adheres to the CommunityKit Code of Conduct.
I’m excited to share a little project of mine: GoLight Energy - an iOS app for people in Europe who want to see how green their local electricity is! You can get it on the App Store today: https://apps.apple.com/app/golight-energy/id6755192452
It works like a traffic light:
🟢 Use energy when it’s green.
🔴 Hold off when it’s red.
A small shift in timing, such as when you cook or charge your car, can help increase renewable usage and reduce reliance on coal and gas.
Building this was a great chance to dive deeper into SwiftUI from the other side, exploring advanced scrolling APIs and designing with Liquid Glass!
Huge thanks to the team at Fraunhofer ISE behind Energy-Charts (@energy_charts_d). Their API powers the app, and their website (https://energy-charts.info) is fantastic for those interested in grid data and renewables!
