Also, “men should be sterilized to prevent unwanted pregnancies!” ain’t it either. Bodily autonomy has constantly been under attack in the US—we have a a colonialist, racist, and ableist history of performing medical procedures like sterilization without consent.
Suggesting sterilization of anyone isn’t a creative thought experiment, it’s well-worn fascist and eugenicist territory.

A study (preprint) predicts overturning #Roe will lead to a 24% increase in maternal mortality *solely due to more pregnancies which are more life threatening than #abortion.*
Per the CDC, there are 0.41 deaths from legal abortion per 100K versus pregnancy which is 23.8 per 100K.
