Just bought & watched the movie #SpringsteenDeliverMeFromNoWhere on #DVD that I bought on whim, even though it didn't get much publicity or praise and had only a limited theatrical release.
The movie is mainly about Springsteen's writing & production of his album #Nebraska which is an homage to his life growing up (NOT in Nebraska) which now is considered one of his masterworks.
The movie has not been well reviewed but I had no problem with it. It is darker & slower but no less engaging IMO than the #Dylan biopic, #ACompleteUnknown.
It rate it a 6 out of 10 & worth watching, of course, if you're a Springsteen fan, but also if you're just a fan of music who is interested in the creative music making process.
