Yesterday, I got an email saying my #DisabilityBenefits application was denied. I'm waiting for the paper letter in the mail, and then I'll appeal in whatever way they tell me to (I've been told it's very common to have to do that), but I thought I might as well ask about it here.

Has anyone here been through the process of getting #SSI or #SSDI in the US? Does this result (in the image) mean I medically qualify as disabled, but there was some error in my paperwork...?

Thank you so much to the people who replied with good wishes!!

This can’t mean anything other than “you’re approved as long as you’re still poor”, right???

And apparently this last step takes 2 to 4 weeks for most people!

#CaraCare, an app specifically for #IBS, can track a bunch of things, but it doesn't write to the Health app as far as I can tell. So I'm just using it to track my meals, bowel movements, and IBS episodes. It seems nice for that so far!

Bowelle just had a space to write what you had. This one lets you list ingredients as tags! And the bowel movement options seem more customizable.

I’ve used it long enough to customize its settings and log four meal items. I'd cautiously recommend trying it!

#PlantNanny is a very cute app! I've been using it for a few months, with only a brief pause recently to try a few new apps.

It's exactly the kind of light gamification that works for me. You water cute plants every time /you/ drink water, and the amounts are customizable. Your current plant wilts a little if you don't drink enough water, but I don't think they ever die.

It syncs to the Health app, which is very nice - a graph displays there as well.

I definitely recommend it.
