My (the weather channel @ecweatherchannel) YouTube account was getting upwards of 10 emails a day for copyright on the streams

I even posted about it to the community. It was non-stop and it meant the very little ad revenue I was getting was gone completely.

I swapped out the playlist to be 100% sure because maybe licenses changed and stuff.

Now the bizarre thing is the emails just randomly stopped one day. None of the old streams were being pinged anymore.

Now to my surprise, all of the old streams no longer have copyright issues and are fully monetized (by me!) again. So strange. I wonder what was going on for like a solid 2 months.

Well at least my inbox is much happier.

This tax break across Canada for the next two months is great and all but is tax really the problem?

I feel like we need to be going after the big box stores and suppliers for price gouging us rather than having us save 50¢ when we buy a random grocery item.

When I worked for the digital side of a large store that shall be named that begins with Lob, the CEO was _adamant_ they're doing everything they can to stop suppliers and they're only making $1 per grocery cart. I wasn't convinced by this mind you.

To my absolute surprise, it actually got accepted into the Partner program!
