Many non-artists don't seem to realise that just sitting staring into space is an integral part of the creative process.
I think the word for that dominant cultural narrative is "supremacy."
Supremacy is a belief system that rests on what I’ve called foundational lies: the lie of separation, which insists that we bear no relation to one another; the lie of scarcity, which insists that life must be earned; and the lie of redemptive violence, which insists that those who have not earned life owe a debt to those who have earned life that is best paid with violence and hard use.

oh i see there's another "here's a scientific rebuttal of transphobia!" post making the rounds so let me just say:

the rebuttal to transphobia is simply:
1. gender is a social construct and that means we get to remake it in our own image as we see fit
2. bodily fucking autonomy
Florida Republicans believe neither in freedom, nor small government, nor the sanctity of the family. Senate Bill 254 legalizes the kidnapping of trans children from their families.
"Not only will this subject numerous transgender kids to the hell of conversion therapy, but it will allow the state to threaten to terminate political opponents' custody rights over their cisgender kids unless they immediately bend the knee and fall silent, as SB254 classifies the *allegation* that kids may be given gender-affirming care as an "emergency" in and of itself and does not force plaintiffs to provide any evidence whatsoever that said kids are actually transgender before seizing them."
Their goal is not just to terrorize young trans people, but to take advantage of transphobia as a means to achieve totalitarian control. In the long run, this threatens everyone, not just young trans people and their families.

Raya and the Last Dragon (2021) - I appreciate the empathy part of the story line
Strange World (2022) - solarpunk, haven't watched it yet but looking forward to it (found it from a pop culture detective video https://youtu.be/rqQJHja9qxU )
My Neighbor Totoro (1988) - this is just a nice chill movie with a good story. Started watching this at 3.
I'd really like to find something to counter copaganda because their friends are already in to paw patrol, and copaganda is so prevalent at this age. Any help would be very much appreciated.
