As I see it the role of @auschwitzmuseum is to bear witness to *one* atrocity: to tell the clear, unvarnished, detailed, complete and undeniable truth about a particular evil at a particular time.

It is up to the rest of us to bear witness to the atrocities of today, to act against them as we are able, to be informed by the truths our history keepers show us.

@auschwitzmuseum does not need to, not can it, speak for the victims of genocide in Rwanda, in China, in America, in Gaza, other than by telling the truth of Auschwitz so that those who have eyes can see, and those who have ears can hear, so that when fact matches fact the truth is evident.

@contrasocial @auschwitzmuseum The problem is that only they keep the facts about the Holocaust, people should combine facts that both crimes are the same, but people are too stupid to combine dots + Poland is still struggling with generational trauma

Although I would prefer them to talk about the Roma, because they mainly talk about Poles and Jews, and unfortunately the Roma are one of the groups that are omitted as they talk about the Holocaust
