(Re-)introducing Looks Like Rain, a weather app I wrote because I couldn't find one that was quite what I wanted.

I launched a first beta a few months ago. The app's made a lot of progress since then, so I could really use some more people to kick the tires since I think it's ready to go.

It's available for iOS and Mac, it's got home and lock screen widgets, and a handy menu bar popup on Mac.

Windows Tipp des Tages: Was mache ich, wenn ich meinen BitLocker Wiederherstellungskey verloren habe?
Solange noch das Passwort bekannt ist, geht das entfernen von BitLocker recht easy: Sobald nach dem Key gefragt wird, einfach auf den Link "Dieses Laufwerk überspringen" klicken. Danach kommt man in die Recovery Funktion von Windows. Dort wird man wieder nach dem BitLocker Key gefragt und kann nun die Wiederherstellungsoptionen aufrufen. Dort einmal auf Erweitert und die Eingabeaufforderung aufrufen. Dort nun eingeben:

manage-bde -unlock C: -Password

Und man entsperrt dann mit dem Passwort das Laufwerk. Das wird auch bestätigt in der Konsole.
