This isn't a climate solution. We can't "you do you" ourselves out of the climate crisis.
We need federal standards that protect workers from the heat, and to keep fossil fuels in the ground.
And here’s a fuzzier shot of the lady from the front, her long ovipositor seen down in the crack.
Somehow it feels a bit voyeuristic to be posting these pictures 🫢 but it’s all in the name of science, I say.
"The era of global warming has ended. The era of global boiling has arrived.
The air is unbreathable, the heat is unbearable, and the level of fossil fuel profits and climate inaction is unacceptable.
Humanity has unleashed destruction. This must not inspire despair, but action."
— United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres
@edyong209 has knocked it out of the park again with his latest on #LongCOVID and #MECFS: what fatigue really means in the context of these illnesses.
As a severe ME/CFS patient, my fatigue means: I spend the vast majority of my time (22-23h) in bed, eyes shut. I've been able to add tolerable activity in and outside the home with the use of wheelchairs. I haven't been able to stand for more than a minute or two for months.
