Do you understand why Trump has lifted the oil sanctions that were punishing Iran, the country he’s bombing, and Russia, the country that’s helping it?

Do you understand why Trump is sending 5,000 Marines to sail through the Strait of Hormuz while complaining that none of our friends and allies will help him reopen it?

Here's the whole explanation.

EDIT: they rejected the PR. So keep fight on! systemd folks are cowards and enabling this mess.

Google has become everything it once pretended to disdain -- an arrogant, sleazy, control-freak monopolist.

Its latest anti-user, anti-competition move will shut down the alternative app marketplaces that Google used to show off as "we're not like Apple" evidence. https://thenewstack.io/f-droid-says-googles-android-developer-verification-plan-is-an-existential-threat-to-alternative-app-stores/

F-Droid says Google's Android developer verification plan is an 'existential' threat to alternative app stores

F-Droid fights Google's Android developer verification plan that could kill alternative app stores used by millions. Here's what developers need to know.

But the biggest enshittification of the Internet by far is Government backed: age verification.
Apparently, the biggest sponsor of lobbying for this is… (can’t you guess?) Meta. It’s nothing to do with protecting children, and everything to do with collecting more data about us all.
Let’s regulate the TechBros’ algorithms, not us poor users. Treat the disease, not the symptom.
