Full-stack developer, getting back into gaming with my Steam Deck.

Currently working on a project involving Cloudflare Workers and IMAP, which includes writing a lib for IMAP on CF Workers - https://github.com/Exerra/cf-imap

Coincidentally, starting to dislike e-mail.

But, you know, fine. It will hurt less if the Google app shows all the relevant info. After all, it should show every piece of info it has, right?

Wrong.

Google Weather shows a per-hour simplified view of the wind direction and speed.
Apple Weather shows a graph with the wind direction (when holding for more details), speed and... gust speed.

Call me crazy, but I think gust speeds are an extremely important thing to show, especially when they are 91 km/h.

I've been using the #Weather app that comes preinstalled with my #Pixel phone and... it's not good.

We have a red warning issued for rain and wind, but you won't see that anywhere in the #Google Weather app, even if you go into a more expanded view.

#Apple Weather on the other hand immediately tells you if there is a warning.

Meteorological centre warnings are extremely important pieces of info that NEED to be clearly and immediately communicated.

Good news: the post import works (!!)

Bad news: I may have federated it.

Argggh, I can't figure out why #Mastodon doesn't seem to understand that I've accepted the Follow activity!!

Using the explorer it SEEMS like the body is correct, and the fact that it (a) accepts it without showing an error in the explorer and (b) returns a 202 status for the POST indicates that it SHOULD have worked... but it hasn't!!!

Genuinely losing my mind over this lol

This is a funny way of saying the average Arc user doesn't understand that Arc is Chrome with a skin on top (& a lot of Segment analytics 👀)

@srishakatux Awesome use of generative AI, however the extension currently has problems on non-standard browsers like Arc (& SigmaOS, though that is WebKit with Chromium ext. support).

Since the sidebar feature isn't available on these browsers I imagine there could be a fallback. Regular browsers use the sidebar, non-standard ones pop up a little window underneath the highlighted text (à la DeepL).

Anyway, awesome tool and I look forward to using it once it works on non-standard browsers :)
