It's great that Rümeysa Öztürk is to be released immediately, after being illegally and unconstitutionally arrested for writing an op-ed.
But she was in jail for 6 weeks before the slowly turning wheels of justice got around to ruling.
6 weeks.
How many more uncounted people are in jail like this?
Humanity, in spite of current crises, can still regenerate nature, find to more #wellbeing within #planetaryboundaries.
Earth4All lays out such a story. H I V E Initiative interviews me on new strategy for a shared, broad wellbeing. It IS solvable! (but maybe it's easier to keep doomscrolling and despairing in the flood of media alarms, than to actually build a healthy bio-socio-economy Watch and/or read if your curious) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOlzTj1tinw

Australia is driving the koala to extinction

"The deep dive shows the mining industry has been the biggest approved clearer of koala habitat since the koala was added to the threatened species list in 2012."

"Under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act, proponents behind new projects must examine if any threatened species are present in their development area."

"Since the koala was added to the national threatened species list in 2012, 126 projects considered to have significant impacts on koalas were approved in NSW, Queensland and the ACT...Almost 34,000 hectares of habitat was approved for clearing, across several different industries."

Ultra-short takeoff and landing plane rakes in $8 billion in pre-orders

In all the buzz around eVTOLs, there's still plenty of appetite for more conventional electric planes – especially, it seems, if they make ludicrous amounts of lift, and can take off and land at incredibly slow speeds, using absolutely tiny runways.
