Welcome to ZeroTier's official presence on the Fediverse! This will be our home here where we make announcements and interact with our community.
Might be time to migrate off of mastodon.social, server is crumbling under the weight of all the new users =\

@jkbecker disregard, I see it’s correct there. Try editing your Mastodon profile to remove and re-add the GitHub link. I had to mess with mine a time or two before it worked.
@jkbecker use the entire URL to your Mastadon profile, not just the handle.

Hah, "Verified" and I didn't even have to cough up $8/mo.

Thanks for the awesome tip on your blog, @jwildeboer

A Quick Fix For The Verified Status for Github on your Mastodon Profile

Mastodon has a very light-weight method of proving that you are the owner (or, at least an editor) for the links on your profile page. Technically you add a <a rel="me" href="https://link.to/YourProfile>Verification</a> to the page you want to be verified.

@jamesthebard oh sure, there's that, but don't overlook the featured profiles at the bottom πŸ˜…
mastodon.social has once again caught up with real-time. I haven't received the new machine for the database yet (seems like the technical issues unfortunately overlapped with some bank holidays; hopefully tomorrow) but I managed to find a way to optimize some code that seems to have helped. Thank you for being patient, and again, I'm really sorry you couldn't experience Mastodon at its best the past few days on here.
