I like movies and music in probably like a 65/35 split. I like food of all kinds but have no desire to learn how to cook.

You might know me best as YouLittleJerk on Letterboxd, or previously as @ej, or even more previously as @EricJ, and we may have been friends before so I'll understand if you decline my friendship - especially if we haven't interacted in a while - but I hope you'll consider it.

Anyway, all my best to you and yours!

Really recommend I Love Boosters. Go see it in the theater!

#LetterboxdFriday!

I Love Boosters (2026) - 4.5
Go see it, it's great!

The Yogurt Shop Murders (2025) - 3
Watched because my wife was watching it. I don't think docs of this nature are for me.

A Fistful of Dollars (1964) - 4+❤️
Sergio & Clint made a fun little movie.

Thief (1981) - 4.5+❤️
Mike & Jim made a nice little commentary. This movie rips! #MovieClub

Terminator Salvation (2009) - 1.5
Garbage.

Meek's Cutoff (2010) - Between 4 and 4.5, can't stop thinking of how this is like The Witch.

Saw this on Bluesky and decided to fact check. It's true.

George W Bush, Bill Clinton and Donald Trump were all born in 1946.

Prosky plays the villain so well, I'm almost happy when he does his little death shake after being shot.

Great movie! Happy to stay up past my bedtime to watch it again.

Sgt. Urizzi (John Santucci), the cop that tails Frank and brings him into the station to get beat up, was one of the main "technical advisors" (real-life thieves). His real-life wife, Nancy Santucci, was a waitress in the diner scene.

The bartender at the bar where Frank picked up Jessie before the diner scene was William Peterson (Manhunter, To Live and Die in L.A.).

The lighting in all of the night scenes (which are a lot!) is just tremendous, with all the reflections on the streets, the cars... beautiful stuff.

*Dennis Farina beating up Jim Belushi*

Mann: "This is Dennis Farina and his real-life detective partner."

Caan: "And that's some real-life questioning of a suspect."

Mann: "They're doing some real-world serving and protecting."
