How do we inculcate a culture of being funny here.
Of course every word my child speaks is a small miracle and delightful music to my ears but also I really need to know how long the phase lasts when a child talks for seemingly every single second of the day and insists you engage with each and every utterance
#loveisblind is like what if we made a show premised on blind dates where you can't see the other person but make everyone generically attractive and also the blandest personalities ever featured on reality TV, ensuring that there is no plot tension at any point, ever
Honestly it's wild that no one else thought of "Kids Say the Darndest Things"-Remake-for-the-Tiktok/IG-Era before that Recess Therapy guy did
It would be cool if someone wrote an article about a bunch of the main mastodon servers and what the differences are between them for those of us trying to pick one. Most important criteria being the vibes.
holy crap mastodon lets you add private notes about people on their profiles!!! I always wished I had something like this for twitter
In particular it seems cool that Mastodon's set up really discourages posting terrible hot takes for the transparent purpose of getting people to angrily quote tweet you and get more followers like that sweaty startup account or whatever
I'm finding the hardest part of mastodon is just signing up but after that it's pretty user friendly and straightforward. And gets rid of a lot of the ugly and addictive features of twitter which I always did not like.
Seems like hashtags for right-to-left languages like Arabic might not work on Mastodon? Anyways, I'm wondering where people who post about #MENA or #Arab politics, especially #Syria #Lebanon and #Palestine are on this site?
