#WritingPride 6/6 Have you written a character's queer awakening?

In a sense! #Maxx is my antihero from #FFXIV, and he's awesome. But he didn't start play as a "he"! In fact, he started play with the name Lillian Jael Arcwolf.

At first, he presented as a ciswoman. Next, he decided he would like to present as non-binary. After a while, he used fantasia to get rid of his chest and started going by they/them pronouns. Soon, he was taking aldgoat-derived testosterone and going by he/him pronouns.

Today, he's the manliest trans man in all of FFXIV.

Hi! I'm Ellis: a clinician, a speculative author, a philosopher, a scientist-practitioner, and a mythopoeist. By day, I serve as a mental health professional and work with high-acuity, underprivileged folks in Pittsburgh. By night, I weave legends from the transgressive reality of our cruel, uncaring world.

I publish under Ellis Cú Anann Arcwolf, but I do business as, J. Ellis Burgos. Right now I'm working on developing my career both as clinician and as both fiction and nonfiction author.
