@obsolete29 @fiddle depends on the device you have or budget you’re willing to spend. LineageOS is an option, so is /e/, which also has a #fairphone option. For a #pixel device there is #grapheneos and #calyxos, like @fiddle mentions. Maybe also look at the @fsfe campaign #freeyourandroid?
@obsolete29 If leaving Google ecosystem also means leaving Android, look at @postmarketOS and @tuxdevices
@obsolete29 Sounds like the whole #MSAccess debacle all over again: users creating their own IT solutions is fine for short term and strict defined goals but these things tend to become business critical long-term applications, where sooner or later IT is dragged into spending a lot of effort to either make this a robust enterprise solution or integrate the functionality in a existing enterprise solution, which usually already exists but users refuse to use because <InsertRandomEmotionalExcuse>
