Oh hey tip for folks living w/ kids and teens who are or may be #neurodivergent - our #autistic boo never liked helping in the kitchen. After some time we talked about why (like, warmly - good faith assumption they want to help, but why is it so hard?)

Turns out - the NOISE. The kitchen is clackety crockety bonkety central. None of us realized this until we sat down and openly talked about it. Now Jupes wears headphones whenever doing chores and is very happy to help. :)
