@booksns I've always loved to read, but didn't like being required to read a book that was someone else's choice, and on which I would be tested. Even when I liked the book itself, reading it felt like drudgery.
@jfslicer I had a "Christian" mechanic who, when asked to testify for me after someone totaled my parked car, refused on the grounds that he hadn't been with me at the time, so he couldn't say for sure what had happened. He also said that the damage to my car was consistent with what I told him had happened.
