One more post about last night, promise. If I was socially awkward, or we made eye contact and I didn’t come over, I’m sorry. My battery was absolutely depleted. 😮‍💨

Speaking of meeting even more people: I ran into @peterfriese last night. We haven’t seen each other in person since 2014, before I moved to the US. Randomly running into him gave me the feels. DER HEISSE SCHEISS! (IYKYK)

We met in 2010 or so while presenting regularly at mobile dev conferences across Germany. He joined Google, and I ended up joining Apple.
Seeing him was such a good reminder that life is a wild ride, and what’s important is the friends you make along the way!

Speaking of meeting people, I had the privilege of saying hello to @Cdespinosa last night. I’m not a person who approaches famous people. Like, I don’t approach bands when they hang out at the merch table after the show, even if they are an indie artist.

But, I couldn’t pass on the opportunity to say hello to Chris. He started developer documentation at Apple, and there’s a continuum at Apple from his work all the way to my coworkers and me at Developer Publications.

I had a blast seeing James Dempsey and the Breakpoints last night! I love this bunch of musical nerds. Seeing an on-stage performance of Liquid Glass ;), and meeting friends old and new was just wonderful.
Thanks to everyone who took the time to say hi this week, to tell me and my teammates about your apps and hopes and bugs, to post your questions in the forums and ask them at the group labs, and to enjoy food trucks and nerdy music with us. We look forward to this week all year, and we hope you’ll try the betas and keep the Feedback coming over the next few weeks. Appreciate you! #wwdc26

Anyone out there with a Fritz!Box router? I could use your help with a brief test. DMs are open.

Thanks!

When I learned about this, I was like…man, I wish we had this back in the HockeyApp days. 😆
