My husband was trying to describe what he goes through with Pepper every Wednesday when he washes the bedding—how she moves from corner to corner as he puts the sheets back on—and he just sent me this photo.
This canister of salt is older than my marriage (my husband bought it before he met me, more than 25 years ago). It’s still great. I should really put some in my travel stash.
The government seems hell-bent on making life miserable for a very small and very harmless portion of the population, so today's Low Quality Ad is for this I Love My Trans Friends pin. Just be nice to people. It's not hard. It is actually very easy.

New in iOS 26.4 is the LinkMetadata API! A Swift-y addition to the LinkPresentation framework to make it easier than ever to get metadata from URLs. I am thrilled the world now realizes how amazing my amazing City By the Bay — San Francisco — is and also knows what a bunch of mendacious fucks the folks of @foxnews are for making up so much nonsense about it. Voila my SF:

If and when America finds a way out of authoritarianism, not only will ICE have to be abolished: All these people will need to be held accountable in a court of law for the monstrosities they are committing - those who are ordering them as well as those who are carrying them out. Every single one.
I hope Democrats understand that if and when they get back to power, defaulting to “unity” politics and empty reconciliation without any real accountability would not only be morally abhorrent, but also politically suicidal: The desire for at least some semblance of justice will be overwhelming.
When people say “stop making things political”, they mean you should stop making them feel uncomfortable that the system that oppresses you benefits them.
