@katfriedrich The DOE recently put out a funding opp. announcement seeking decarbonized demonstration projects including commercial scale fertilizer processes -- "Applications should address the production of high volume, energy intensive, high carbon emissions chemicals including ... nitrogenous fertilizers." @katfriedrich My understanding is that it's currently not cost effective with the price of ⚡ vs ⛽. I think I have some screenshots from a lecture I saw in 2022 that you might find interesting, I'll post them tomorrow when I'm back at my laptop.

I DON'T WANT SELF DRIVING CARS!!!!

✔️ I want boring things like public transit that comes so regularly I don't need to check a schedule.

✔️ I want fast passenger rail so accessible and easy it's preferable to suffering airports.

✔️ I want cities that aren't built around cars-as-default

✔️ I want the country to own it.

There should be a movie theater chain that just screens classic movies, especially in weeks like this when there aren’t any good kid-friendly movies.

Screen Star Wars and Back to the Future and Goonies and Beetlejuice etc etc. How can this not work?

@jhelvy Maybe more a part of general programming education, but adding guidance on best practices in setting up project directories and organizing code, data, etc. would have been great to have upfront! Also... Intro to regular expressions.

@mmasnick Oh man... I think I have a very similar model washer, and have been putting this exact fix off for two years. I can't tell if your experience is kicking my butt to finally do it, or pushing me to really commit to ignoring it forever.
