… because it wasn’t cost-effective. He/they.
@PCMag to be fair, the claim that the IDF have killed 33000 children since 2008 seems entirely believable. Same for the 8 billion dollars in support from the US to Israel.

“[Israel is] imposing a complete siege on Gaza. No electricity, no food, no water, no fuel. Everything is closed. We are fighting human animals, and we will act accordingly."

"the assault on Gaza can also be understood in other terms: as a textbook case of genocide unfolding in front of our eyes. I say this as a scholar of genocide, who has spent many years writing about Israeli mass violence against Palestinians”

A Textbook Case of Genocide

Israel has been explicit about what it’s carrying out in Gaza. Why isn’t the world listening?

There are multiple genocidal campaigns going on around the world right now and they are largely being permitted to happen out of apathy and so as not to step one of the big three's toes.

Varadkar: 'If it's unacceptable for Putin to target power stations, the same must apply to Israel'

In the Dáil this afternoon, Leo Varadkar warned that Israel’s support will ‘evaporate quickly’ if it carries out such attacks on Gaza.

@[email protected] @racingdaily @jmb Thought as much, after reading that soliloquy never once mentioning the stark difference in numbers of civilians murdered by both sides, the Israeli attacks on Syria/Lebanon, the language they’ve been using in knesset when describing Palestinians, the forced evictions and settler violence, Al-Aqsa raids, the open-air prison that has become Gaza,…
Dear @jmb, criticism of Israel’s apartheid politics and genocidal treatment of Palestinians is not antisemitism. Zionists such as yourself muddy the waters when it comes to recognition of actual antisemitism and you should be ashamed of yourself.
@jmb For sure, completely ignoring the hardships, apartheid, forced evictions, olive tree burning, electricity cutoffs, blockades and medicine withholding, random arrests and other gruesome and disproportionate violence Palestinians have been subjected to by Israel is the right way to approach what has been happening the last few days. Rolling ones’ eyes is easier with a splinter in them than with an entire beam.
@luisferkmosq23 Hamas represents the interests of Palistina as much as Israel represents the ideals of zionism, but both Hamas and zionism are incompatible with a peaceful solution with equal respect for both Israelis and Palestinians as the past 80-ish years have shown. It’s very much time for the international community to unequivocally condemn Israel’s war crimes and apartheid regime.
