I once mistook a trebuchet for a park bench. It was the long wooden seat that threw me.

I'm extremely late, but I finally got a video-only capture of me working on the #Forth screen editor.

SIgh.

Now I have to edit it and record a voice-over. More time spent.

I think the idea of a YouTube channel is basically going to be dead on arrival. Sorry folks, it's just not happening. Despite being completely unemployed, I still have way too many demands on my time.

That said, I will continue to produce content as time permits. I definitely want to do some more things in the Forth space, and I have some wild ideas coming up.

Yegods, Microsoft, why have you set Copilot back up on my machine and my task bar? THIS is the sort of BS that makes me want to switch to linux on this machine.
Have we not come full circle with this?
Xbox Kinect --> Copilot -> "Copilot for Gaming"

Early-stage work on the gaming-focused AI was revealed during today's Official Xbox Podcast.

We don't want to be on any list.

And now the US Gov and Musk are trying to get access to all data they have about every person and put them into a big fat DB and run AI over it.

I am afraid what they will do with that.

master: welcome to my Smart Home

student: wow. how is the light controlled?

master: with this on-off switch

student: i don't see a motor to close the blinds

master: there is none

student: where is the server located?

in this moment, the student was enlightened

The human eye doesn't move smoothly, but in short quick moves with pauses between them.

The reason is to prevent the CGA snow that would result if the VRAM was being accessed at the same time as the image is drawn

Word of the Day:
It's wild that you can just do anything. Date the wrong person, choose the wrong career. You can go outside and start eating dirt if you want, and the universe lets you. Not even a pop up like "Are you sure?"

This is a credible proposal for DRM for websites in general. It would enable unbeatable adblock-blocking. It would prevent user customization for not just convenience but also accessibility.

I do not say this lightly: Enabling the forfeiture of control over the browsing experience is a fundamentally evil idea that must be rejected now, as it has been in the past, and we must remain vigilant against its reemergence in the future.
