Cognitive dissonance is making a New Year's resolution to get healthier, but refusing to get vaccinated or wear a mask to protect yourself from a highly transmissible virus that can increase your risk of diabetes, heart disease, neurological conditions, chronic fatigue, and more.
People who are disabled, chronically ill, higher risk etc. have every right to be angry about being abandoned by multiple governments. And they have every right to express that anger in whichever way they choose. Period. We should all humbly listen to them and act.
There is always more money for war. But never more money for healthcare, vaccines, masks, Long COVID treatments, clean air, green jobs, clean energy, climate reparations etc.
