Latest comic: Oligarchically Correct

So, I've been poking around at #Spoutible every now and again, and while it's still in its early infancy, here's some thoughts:

- 300 character hard "spout" limit.
- Centralized. Same single point of failure as other social media. Fine now, but being a crowd funded venture, what about in the future if the price is right?
- Messy interface. Will probably improve over time.
- No mobile app, but good reflexive mobile design.
- Uses AI to rate user accounts for abuse and mis/disinformation.
- Doesn't (yet) integrate with any other services.
- Three strikes, and you're gone forever.
- Two alts max.
- Have to verify with a phone number. Meant to help cut down on impersonation and having 100 alts.

I think it has potential to be a familiar replacement for people fleeing a certain dumpster fire, but I also think the #Fediverse is still better.
