Topics include new brush previews, stroke previews in the palette dock, more animation and timelapse export formats via ffmpeg, input fields for precise values when editing brushes and a bunch of bugfixes.

Timelapses now support animations. The attached video shows that off, thanks to BulletPepper for providing it!
There's also several smaller improvements to the animation toolage and there's a new rotation tool, analogous to the pan and zoom tools.
Finally, on Android you, now get to pick the interface scale and between desktop and mobile mode when Drawpile starts.
Drawpile's donation website has been updated to make it clearer where the money goes and letting you clearly pick between recurring and one-time donations.

Another feature in the Drawpile 2.3 beta: a lasso fill tool.
It works similar to lasso selection, but for fills. Useful for quick coloring.
It even lets you use the stabilizer and smoothing options that you can use for brushes.
The feature is backward-compatible, so you can use it in sessions hosted with version 2.2.

A new feature in the Drawpile 2.3 beta is "pixel-perfect" pixel brushes.
Normally, single-pixel brushes can end up with lines that are two pixels wide in some places, due to L-shaped connections being made.
With pixel-perfect turned on, those are eliminated those lines will always end up being one pixel wide.

The first "beta" release of the next major version of Drawpile, version 2.3.0, will probably be released tomorrow.
There's many new features, one of them is a "Pigment" blend mode, usable for both brushes and layers. It does spectral color mixing, for more realistic, paint-like blending, rather than just averaging the red, blue and green channels.
For example, if you blend together blue and yellow, you get green instead of a muddled gray.
