@Momibelle because its a huge brand liability. they would be liable for anything said or shared on said instance.

They will need to have huge teams of moderators and legal eagles.

And one posted swastika can taint the brand for months.

@thecommonpeople same here. Sadly deleting it will free up your username so for now that's not an option. However I did delete all my DM's (i know they have backups but it felt like is was doing something) and downloaded several GB of my data.

It's sad but I do feel so much better.

I've had to make an executive decision. I see many are 're-posting' content from Twitter to the Fediverse, I'm not going to do that.
