That looks petty 🤔.
Could it be a legal requirement? (e.g. #GDPR, which is what I used to close the account and request forgetfulness about me. Obviously, they're not forgetting about my email…)
Any idea @swrichards?=

#UXFail of the day: Google Calendar decided UTC wasn't a valid choice to schedule an event… ugh
Just checked, an alternative app such as ~~Simple Calendar~~ **Fossify Calendar** [1] does offer UTC as an event timezone.
Yet another reason to continue the transition out of this proprietary lifestyle. (I don't need a big push 🙃.)
**edit:** replace the original link with the forked version over acquisition and source code change concerns.
Listening to #DjangoChat episode with @jmduke .
I find it charming that ButtonDown's docs feature a screenshot from a dev machine with a hint to #DjangoDebugToolbar amongst stylised illustrations.
I'm sure it doesn't hurt anybody. And to me it's a positive marker of a small company simply trying to do its thing 👌.
Who has an army of technical marketers to be pedantic about screenshots? If it accurately illustrates the idea, let it be.
(Or is it an Easter egg for Django geeks? 🤔)
