Commentators need to stop saying that judge #AileenCannon is "in over her head." She's not. She's a member of #Trump's defense team and doing her job exceedingly well.
I would like to be part of a modest democratic experiment wherein we only elect people who really don't want to hold the office, but are nonetheless very qualified and capable.

SCOTUS is hearing arguments to ban Mifepristone b/c “FDA failed to address concerns about whether the drug is safe for women.”

Mifepristone reports 5 deaths per 1M people who use it—a death rate of 0.0005%.

Viagra has a 15X greater death rate.

So…when do we ban Viagra??🤔

Today the New York Times ran an 1,800 word puff piece portraying Erin Hawley's efforts to ban abortion as consistent with her lifelong opposition to invasive government regulations.

This is a fundamentally absurd and dishonest portrayal.

Banning abortion is increasing government regulation, no matter what the New York Times tells you

A Times puff piece portrays an abortion banner as an advocate for limited government.

Oil baron Philip Anschutz has hosted Neil Gorsuch for weekends of dove shooting at a mountain resort called ‘Eagles Nest.’

A resort named after Hilter’s getaway- are they all on the take? And Neil Gorsuch shooting doves. JFC rid of us these monsters. Shooting doves at a resort named after Hitler’s getaway.

If SCOTUS overturns the Chevron deference precedent in the upcoming Loper v. Raimondo case, he will benefit significantly.

Update: When Mitch McConnell was blocking Obama‘a Supreme Court nominee, holding open the seat that Neil Gorsuch would later fill, Anschutz gave $500,000 to McConnell’s Senate Leadership Fund (superPAC) on March 15, 2016.

Gorsuch urged to recuse himself from supreme court case over ties to oil baron

Philip Anschutz has hosted rightwing justice at resort and stands to benefit if court strips power from federal regulatory agencies

People who don't understand the difference between etymology and entomology bug me in ways I can't put into words.

Abortion rights have been on the ballot in multiple states since Roe was overturned.

Each time, abortion rights have won, with Ohio set to enshrine abortion rights in their constitution tonight.

Kansas: 59-41
Vermont: 76-24
Montana: 52-47
Michigan: 56-43
Kentucky: 52-47
California: 67-33
Ohio: 55-45 likely

The majority of the US considers access to abortion a fundamental right.

Conservatives cling to this ‘silent majority” nonsense, and it’s just that. Nonsense.

Abortion is healthcare.

@skykiss Surprise! They are always projecting.
