@rob probably more likely having things line up than a diagram in the dreaded docx
Can't think of anything more satisfying about spending time to find just the right icon for whatever it is.
The discussion is doa though as if there is money at grabs for random code commits, bot armies will be coming for that faster than you can say GPT

Random shower thought, Bell Labs worked by hiring endless smart people, there are endless smart people in OSS. Wrap them up in a liberal collective and adopt the projects in a co-op structure that is taken seriously by governments or the EU and you have a powerhouse.

What’s more likely? A gov framework will recognise it or these people will want to work under a public sector paper pusher 😂

Hmm, people want to build cool stuff and pay their bills, reminiscent of the Bell Labs ideal.

@Vivaldi enough for me to set it as default again.
@bobmagicii I’ve tried to start NMS twice, the farm/craft mechanic to explore bites too hard for me to enjoy.

I recall this from a software dev discussion from years ago which made me think about early optimisation.

Only start optimising when you hit “many”.

If return an enum then it doesn’t really matter what it’s called.

One...two...many - Nature Reviews Neuroscience

Interesting observation from a new member of our team, their mentor is focused on client success, where as I'm focused on delivery/development.

They say it's like one of us is a Sith and the other is a Jedi.

I didn't offer an opinion to complete the triad.

@jdecool I can share ours too -

Comes with a nice helper that shows you most the commands when you `make`, the devs love the simplicity of `make up`

Gather.town are deprecating their free/value tiers and replacing them with services that cost more than Slack/Google Workspace.

I feel this is the end.

It's cute, but not worth it - another case where someone has tried to wedge AI into it and realised their upstream costs balloon.

We found this in the virtual office.
