We integrated public multi-omics datasets collected upon treatment with ED surrogate risk factors and used network propagation to define an ED network. We then devised a new in silico KO strategy to prioritise 17 potential candidates for targeting ED to be tested in vitro. We found 8 potential candidate drugs for repurposing with a positive effect in at least one of the phenotypes tested and one (Molidustat) with an effect on both.
