@ebassi @Migueldeicaza Flip side: I hate it when a project has a “feature request” channel and when you ask for a feature they agree it’s a good idea and tell you to submit a patch. If I could do that I would have just done it. Sigh.

@tubetime FWIW, this looks identical inside to a Wico arcade trackball except they don’t have that third encoder board with the uC. Your two rollers have very little wear and that third leg bearing has some outer gunk you can clean to make it smoother, but otherwise I’m guessing some light oil on each bearing should make it good to go for many years.

@mcdanlj PowerPoles can be soldered with less skill since you solder just the pin. PowerPoles can be expanded past 2 connections. XT connectors are physically smaller for the same amperage. PowerPoles come in fun colors. That’s all I can think of.
