@enobacon nice edgerunner!
I finally decided to get stumpwm working on dom0 on qubesOS. it's actually better than i expected. next is to parse the .desktop files to generate stump menu for all the qubes and their applications. at least for the time being it feels more like home #linux
In general, there is a high risk that the law will end up being extremely complex. The risk categories in the Commission's text, in particular, will quickly lead to mandatory maximum-risk mitigation measures (such as scanning and age verification). https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2025/12/after-years-controversy-eus-chat-control-nears-its-final-hurdle-what-know
After Years of Controversy, the EU’s Chat Control Nears Its Final Hurdle: What to Know

After a years-long battle, the European Commission’s “Chat Control” plan, which would mandate mass scanning and other encryption-breaking measures, at last codifies agreement on a position within the Council of the EU, representing EU States. @GrapheneOS it is obviously a troll. their username starts with b8r. which is baiter. and they hired those people to read scripts
@alice nice. I saw the Linux, cybersec, lock picking and cucumber in a lathe and gave you a follow. After getting a pixel 10 and installing grapheneOS trying to move to fediverse and leave the old stuff behind. Also programmer, gnu user (qubes and guix), and lock picker
@alice no hate but it's awful. I also don't eat meat so maybe I'm a bit biased
@alice chicken pot pie is disgusting
@glecharles just wear the appropriate clothing. All about the layers. Freezing rain and severe weather (lightning or 45+ mph winds) are the only times i avoid. Studded tires for the snow and ice make it a non issue
