@pluralistic @inthehands I started reading the post and snatched this: “The role of this "human in the loop" isn't to prevent errors. That human is there to be blamed for errors”. That evoked a sad, knowing chuckle.
I am two chapters into @pluralistic‘s #enshitification. Cancelled my #Amazon Prime subscription, deleted their app from my phone and think about finally leaving #Facebook for good.
How will my digital life look when I finished the book
I hate it when I get to the store to buy groceries and realize I forgot to have generational wealth
you say an AI agent hallucinated and took down production, but what I'm hearing is that you let a flock of stochastic parrots into the server room and now you're somehow surprised there's birdshit everywhere
@germosch @pluralistic Thanks for the inspiration, here's my contrib to the public domain

Roman Mosaic Unearthed — Southwark, London, UK <3 What Time Reveals (9 Photos): https://streetartutopia.com/2026/03/28/from-buried-mosaics-to-trees-shaping-themselves-around-bricks/

Two archaeologists gently uncover a large Roman mosaic beneath a construction site near The Shard in central London. The vibrant geometric patterns, preserved underground for nearly 2,000 years, reveal a glimpse into an ancient dining room once part of a Roman mansio (guesthouse).

Lmao. This is funny.

The amazing bit is the contents of the big window in the middle, for children under 50, *not* the windows themselves.

This is your reminder to cancel all those subscriptions you signed up for on sale at the end of 2024 that are about to renew at full price next week.

@pluralistic followup: I did bring friends, and you have some new fans now. Your commentary answers questions people don't know to ask yet in some ways. Thanks for signing yet another book!
