My drone motored pinewood derby car was silly fast. I neglected to consider the force of impact with the backstop though. I got 3 runs before my starting trigger messed up. You can see this first run dislodged the battery case from the frame. 🤣 #PinewoodDerby

I designed and built an outlaw pinewood derby car. It has two tiny drone motors and a 9V battery with a switching mechanism to start when the front pin drops. This thing is hilarious. #3dPrinting #PinewoodDerby

Installed some rafter vents and sealed around them to keep the wind out of the attic. After that, I finished putting down insulation over the pipes. Hopefully that will keep them from freezing. #diy #insulation #plumbing

We had our house repiped over the summer because of a leak in the slab. There’s one bathroom we had to do in the attic and I’ve been putting off checking to see how bad the plumbers insulated it.
As expected, they half-assed it. There were several gaps in the insulation that I patched and sealed. Today, I’m hoping to bury all of this with some R30 batts.
With single digit temps coming, I’d rather not deal with frozen pipes. 🥶
