@privateger @0xabad1dea There used to be lots of peat there, and dried peat is quite a good fuel apparently. So, you carve out a strip of peat and lay it to dry on the strip next to it, and you have quite an efficient way to gather fuel. Those strips tend to radiate outwards from the village you're working from, and then later they automatically fill up with water when you're done, and you get this.

@n1k0 @nhoizey Le rebord de trottoir a l'air de faire partie du plateau qui fait office de fausse route. Je crois que c'est le même plateau utilisé sur les deux premières photos, et le faux rebord se voit un peu mieux dans la deuxième photo.
