TechnoTimSelf-hosting just keeps getting better! I finally took the time to set up PaperlessNGX. Local AI really took it to the next level with improved OCR.

TransQuinnzelJust managed to add a ESP32 to my dehumidifier to allow me to turn it on and off using home assistant.
I added two cables to the RX and TX lines and could see and send data over uart.
Working on getting the humidity values from the sensor next. I was suppriesed how easy it was to read the data off.

andi242HA 2025.9.2 seems to introduce a bug eating up 100% CPU (1 Core) when running in a VM (most likely)

@GavinCampbell I heard you talking about your Rheem water heater on the latest Hometech.fm podcast. Does it have a RS485 service port? If so, check out this project https://github.com/esphome-econet/esphome-econet to bring all the data and control into #HomeAssistant. Works great on my heat pump water heaters.
