@NanoRaptor a magpie.

@gloriouscow retro is where I'm at, but honestly you do you. If you post something I'm not interested in, I just scroll on by.

Having said that, I hate AI with a passion (or more so, the techbros implementation and control of it), but I'll generally read anyones take on it.

(I had to edit the post as I'd just assumed you'd been shitpostkng about AI. So clearly I have just been scrolling on by already).

For the Xorg purists and those with older Unix workstations, this might make your old hardware feel new again. Restoring 2D hardware acceleration to older GPUs.

T2 Package Manager and Linux Distribution

Ultra portable, low-code package manager and clean reference Linux distribution.

@stevemarshall @axemonkey this all really comes across as Mozilla wanting to change their image by distancing themselves from the current userbase. Anyone would think we smell or something

Anyway, I'm holding out because I'm still hopefull Mozilla might be able to have some influence on web standards, but I think I'm probably kidding myself. Google wins, Mozilla dies & all we're left with is a web designed only to know more about you than yourself so they can sell you more shit you don't need.

@janbeta yeah. I like emulation on a PC, but would feel dirty in a breadbin case!

I believe BMC64 was written by Randy Rossi, same guy behind the Kawarii.

@janbeta yeah I'm just a bit pedantic about my gear. I do have a collection of original breadbins, but thats exactly what they are - original. I don't want to sacrifice them to put in new coloured cases.

The other options I have are the new board replicas, but then I'd need to find all the big custom ICs (or use newer replicas where possible). Original can still be found but they certainly are becoming scarcer and more expensive. There's also the c64 reloaded mk2, but that also needs CIAs, VIC, CPU and SID[s].

@janbeta if you've never had an Ultimate device (or a Turbo Chameleon), that will be game changing for you.

I'm saddened that Gideon has ended production of his Ultimate Elite boards though. I have 6 remaining breadbin cases from retrofuzion's kickstarter (I couldn't decide which colour I wanted, so I got one of each). I'd had intended to build them all out with Ultimate Elite boards and share amongst family and friends. Now I just have 6 empty cases with nothing to out in them.

@osnews actually, the desktop version (on firefox mobile at least) has the same bug. I did try that. I observe the same on a chrome based browser too (vanadium).

But, you're on it so all good. Was just bringing it to your attention in case you weren't aware.

@osnews FYI, the website is currently broken. I'm unable to scroll on the site in either firefox or chrome. It's a strange behaviour I've never encountered anywhere before.
