The irony of the sentence "And speed matters – wider axons, like wider roads, help messages move faster." used in this article when multiple studies confirm that wider roads don't help vehicles move faster, and in fact traffic circles, much like the pearls they're describing (IMO) do, should not be lost.

i have much ow.

i love my work and am grateful for that. but no one should have to force themselves to work through pain. no one should have to push themselves too far for fear of what will happen if they don't (or even if they do).

somehow the balance of this world must shift towards a more caring, compassionate, and nurturing society. somehow we must keep trying to make that happen.

to anyone else struggling today (and just to anyone else), i leave you with this breath of nature. a window into a place of peace that i hope can at least ease your soul, even if not your body.

Just watched Iwájú on Disney 🧡

It's hard, and it's a kid's show, which is a delicate balance.
I can't speak to the accuracy of the Nigerian pidgin, but the rhythm sounded right to my ears.
It's a story of gangs and crime, tech and tradition, rich and poor, safety and danger, and importantly it's *not* a story where the rich are always right, or the poor are always wrong.
The art is gorgeous. I wish there were more, but you can watch the whole series in an evening.

@magicalgirlsabrina Xanax is one of, if not THE most addictive benzodiazepines available. It doesn't matter if you only take 0.25 mg. If you take it often enough and for long enough, you will become dependent and withdrawal is extremely difficult. I'm not guessing or making assumptions. I know from personal experience. Find another treatment.
