Canadian wildfire smoke has reached us :-(
I lived in California long enough that I'm used to dealing with the bad air from fires, but the people here generally are not and it scares me when I see people going about their normal days. Unlike last time, there's a visible haze so maybe folks will take more notice.
I can hope.
I weep for Canada. I hope the devastation brings acknowledgement, but I'm not holding my breath.

Got my latest Covid booster yesterday, and while they say that getting exercise can lessen symptoms, accidently doubling my daily steps by mowing a friend's 30⁰ lawn may not have been the wisest way to end my day!

First hockey game live in far too long.
#FortWayneKomets vs #IowaHeartlanders in game 7 of the first round on the playoffs.

The Komets synchronised cheering us on point. The team has been here for 75+ years so they've had time to practice.
I think my favourite is after each goal they count all the home goals with pointing and ringing a bell 😆
