Using Raspberry Pis sometimes comes with kernel messages interfering with your initial configuration dialogue: "undervoltage detected❗️"
When this happens DietPi displays a yellow lightning in top right corner of screen to, what a nice feature. 😃
Well challenge accepted, how can this be?
USB Charger was good, one made for Raspis, delivering astonishing 5.33V (measured) with a max of 3A. Obviously the culprit is somewhere else.
I heard about faulty USB cables before and so it was time to test them all.
Having voltage meter set up and connected to 5V+GND, running stress-ng for full load on CPU was a good test case.

Results? Amazing! 🤩
About 40% of my USB-A to USB micro cables made issues and the good ones had quite a spread.
The best measured only a drop from 5.33V to 5.15V at full losd of my Raspi 3B. The not so good ones dropped below 5V but didn't lead to "undervoltage detected!".
Most interesting was identical cables having very different results.
Which leads me to conclude that testing is always good, also seemingly identical hardware.
