They protected rich pedophiles while retraumatizing victims. Think about that.

I sat down with Dahlia Taha, Founding Director of the Muslim Public Affairs Council's First Amendment Center, to break down what the First Amendment actually says about religious freedom.

The free exercise clause and the establishment clause together protect every person in this country — and the wave of anti-Shariah bills in Congress violate both. These bills aren't protecting the Constitution. They're shredding it.

Despite a long-standing court order, the NYPD didn’t audit thousands of stops made by its Community Response Team, which has a history of unconstitutional policing and has drawn hundreds of civilian complaints.

ProPublica previously found the unit often sidestepped oversight.

Hartzell Gray in Missouri's 4th — great-grandson of a sharecropper, journalist, former D1 athlete, running on universal healthcare, guaranteed housing, and a living wage.

I’m laughing here as I rewatch the king of England speak to Congress. For him to tutor Congress on the checks and balances that are in our constitution and which this Congress ignores is really telling. Trump most likely didn’t listen or hear what the king said as he said it was great!
Trump and Hegseth must think Congress are for picturesque background but nothing more.
We are paying these men and women to represent us. Maybe we should think about what our dollars are paying for.
@QasimRashid Welcome to 1950 McCarthy Red Scare!!! There really is nothing new today except the suffocating speed that all those actions are happening.
The past will continue to repeat until we learn to read the signs and ACT. All of us knew there were inequities in our system: immigration long was spoken of and nothing was changed, healthcare was patched with the Obama patch we knew republicans Hated it…we didn’t do ANYTHING!
We can fight this regime. But we must act.
