@Wisco I'd probably look at the National Association of Personal Financial Advisers (NAPFA) - https://www.napfa.org/

@bswider hmm, actually maybe that's for chromecast. I forget how Google home control works for these devices (could be internet too rather than local). Your post has made me realize I'm long overdue for making documentation and patching some weaknesses.
@bswider what I did for Google Home control is have a separate VLAN for devices that are fairly restricted to what they can access, things like Google displays, speakers, Hue/lights, Sonos etc. And I have a port group for Google home ports and allow that into this VLAN. (I also have some other lights/switches that actually work over the internet - not local LAN access that I can also control by Google Home but don't require direct access. Those live on a separate guest VLAN.)

@bswider I have ubiquiti equipment at home, so I do something like what's described in this video: https://youtu.be/vz3u6E3Fxi8

The devices that require internet access and some limited access to other devices on the network are more complicated (if they just need outside internet, can use guest network). I use VLANs with firewall rules blocking access in one direction or the other, allowing only certain ports, etc. I don't think most consumer routers allow for such advanced setups, unfortunately.
