It's Girl Scout cookie season, so here is a list of trans Girl Scouts you can buy from!

The list is long (yay!), but I'd recommend reading the bios and finding someone to support who hasn't already met their goal so we can help as many of them meet their goals as possible.

If you're overwhelmed by the list, this is my second year supporting Elvie and they're only at about 25% of their goal right now so I’m sure they'd appreciate your support!

The video here is harrowing, but the woman refusing entry to ICE gets stronger and stronger throughout. She also exercises her rights with skill and knowledge, doing so precisely as she should have. Every American should watch.

EMAIL WRAPPED 2025

This year, you received too fucking much email!

Number of emails that found you well: zero

Number of emails that you printed, even though you didn't consider the environment: zero

Number of times an "out of office" autoresponder was immediately followed by the person answering your email: all of the times

Your favorite email was: none of them

Next year, you are considering: are there any countries where email is illegal, and what are their immigration laws?

It feels like the major tech companies have followed a Journey of discovering The Hardest Way Possible why quality assurance is so important, gradually ramped up quality assurance, dramatically improved the quality of their software, until the senior engineers who pushed for this retire, and then a guy who thinks he knows everything because he's read both "What They Teach You At Harvard Business School" and "What They Don't Teach You At Harvard Business School" says to himself "why are we paying for all this quality assurance? the quality is clearly fine, we don't need it!"

“I think it’s worth to have a cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights.”

One of the biggest cultural issues we have is that no major media or journalistic institutions have been reinforcing norms of what things *should* look like. That corruption isn’t normal, that cronyism isn’t normal, that lies and scandals should be punished, that incompetence is disqualifying.

They’ve simply stopped pointing out that there are any standards at are, or that there used to be a bar of any sort. And now an entire generation doesn’t know this concept at all.
