I’m maybe a little curious to see if the new features on iPad OS will result in more iPads being used for work for folks born after 2000.
iPad sort of felt like a simpler computer for a younger generation. But that generation’s all grown up now.
Time changes everything. Stay curious!
I walked 6.5 miles today. I walk about 4.5 miles almost every day. Not because I’m trying to maximize my health, but because I’m a solo dog parent to a Golden Retriever.
These dogs were bred by humans to do high energy, high intelligence (for dogs) jobs.
But humanity changed its mind about how work gets done, and these amazing animals don’t have jobs to do anymore.
I love my dog. But it’s haunting to reflect on how he is an artifact of what humanity is capable of doing to those who work.
Just heard the best dad joke ever in an anime I’m watching and I’m not a dad, so I’m passing it along:

If you work in design and get suggestions or requests for revisions, don’t think of it as questioning your judgment.
You haven’t shown them what they need to see to feel confident about their *own* judgment.
But designers are often the ones with the right tools to show them what they need to see.
