Trying to find the search field of my mastodon #instance, so I can paste this in, to reply to this toot from another server. And I am not reading the help file to figure it out.

If not intuitive, it’s a bad #interface. So they say.💥

Regardless, to call wind & solar (or batteries, or any individual resource) unreliable is to make a category mistake. As @[email protected] is always saying, the grid is a team sport; no one player can do everything. Can we build a *team* in which solar & wind are the star players?

@drvolts
I like this team idea.

Takes a team.

Thank you

Great short info on the #fediverse

Someone asked, "Who gets to decide what gets moderated on the Fediverse? And who decides what's seen or unseen?"

You do!

If you don't like someone, block them!

If you don't like an instance, block it!

If you don't like your instance, leave it!

If no instance is to your liking, start your own!

If you don't like other instances, de-federate them!

If you don't like federation itself, turn it off!

Ultimately, the Fediverse gives you the freedom of association—exercise it as you see fit.

I love mosses! Excellent groundcover. Here's a pick of one of my favorites:

@chema

So far I'm on two #instances. Federatedpress (journalism ) and mstdn.party (for anyone). I just read about how the #fediverse is like a bunch of different dorms with different rules for that group (like a school or bus riding group.) Fine. And you can visit each other's rooms, get on and off the bus, be in many places at once, right? "Self-segregating" - not a bad thing, not at all. And being #indigenous to somewhere is a wonderful concept.

#NativePlants of Puget Sound, my focus.
