Google the disruptor could be the disrupted, but this all depends on how far Microsoft and others are prepared to re-invent the search business model. In this article I share my thoughts with @thisisaspirehq and why companies need to think bigger with AI

Innovation mostly gets positioned into ideation for new revenue generation, but innovation can be ‘process innovation’ creating new ways to perform and create itself. The latter is often a good place to start as this will give you the capabilities to innovate for customers.

Really like the idea from Rita McGrath to start shifting from using terms “Industry” to “Arena” when looking at business competitiveness and opportunities. A shift in mental models and move the boundaries beyond what is nowadays a unrealistic constraint. Many companies are extending portfolios across industry’s, and the notion of an industry’s limitations can yield dangerous blind spots of opportunities. #strategy #productmanagement
Tradition is the enemy of progress and innovation. Follow the path of value and continuous improvement. #productmanagement #innovation #product #customerfirst

Something I’ve done annually which has helped me in my career is to reflect on these 3 questions:

1. What have I learnt this year and how am I stronger?
2. What will I learn next year to make me stronger and more impactful?
3. Am I happy and my best self and will that change?

The answers to these will determine whether I explore new roles, and/or invest in training, learning and life choices.

Anyone else go through a similar process?
