The police will be given powers to extract data from seized devices and any online accounts accessed on it.

No judicial oversight, just on the say so of a senior officer 😖

There was a woman sitting outside next to the path crying. I was tempted to ask if she was ok or needed anything but then I realized she was on the phone. I walked by her twice. When I went by a third time she was gone. Then I wondered, if it were me, would I want someone to stop, or would I prefer they graciously pretended they didn’t notice me?
