We won! Turnitin is notifying schools that they can opt out of the AI Writing Detection tool. Congratulations to everyone that worked on this, and helped spread the word! I knew we could do it together.

Please note that this is an opt out process, and it's unclear if it will be available after the tool launches next week on April 4th. Reach out to your school's Turnitin administrators and be sure to be heard! This tool is hazardous to students and should be avoided.

It would help if my preferred genre wasn't sci-fi, but I'll do my best.

A #GP colleague of mine had 30 patients on her morning list - this is around *double* the amount considered appropriate. Urgent appointments were subdivided into two and a half minute slots.

The government seems to want the #NHS to fail. The last 12 years of #Tory rule have led to this moment.

I’ve never seen the NHS pushed so hard. It’s not the system that’s breaking now, it’s the people

I regularly see colleagues in tears and hear that the pressure is too much. These strikes are a cry for help

Today I tested the Rodecaster pro in terms of remote participation via Zoom and after much adjusting of settings and running from room to room ( I zoomed myself) I have it all working smoothly. This is random, kept getting pushed back job #1 complete!
